Anete is an attorney-at-law with over 15 years of experience in legal practice. Anete advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, real estate matters, corporate governance and commercial law, as well as national and cross-border insolvency and legal protection proceedings. Anete is also actively engaged in the development of ESG and sustainability-related initiatives.
In addition, Anete represents clients in complex commercial and administrative disputes and provides guidance on the recognition and enforcement of foreign court and arbitration awards in Latvia. Anete has a particular specialization in representing victims in criminal proceedings and related matters, especially in large-scale cases involving a significant number of injured parties.
Before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal, Anete worked for several law firms in Latvia, including one of the largest pan-Baltic law firms.
Anete has graduated from the University of Latvia with a bachelor’s degree in law and from the Riga Graduate School of Law with a master’s degree in law (LL.M.) and a specialisation in European Union and international law.
Anete has been a member of the Latvian Collegium of Sworn Advocates since 2013.
