Aiga is a Senior Associate at the law firm “PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal”, specializing in the application of regulatory frameworks governing public procurement.
At PwC Legal, she advises both contracting authorities and suppliers on resolving complex legal issues, represents their interests before the Public Procurement Monitoring Bureau, and provides hands-on support throughout procurement procedures and contract management (including dispute resolution). She also participates in audits of procurement process functions.
Aiga has extensive experience in the field of public procurement, particularly in representing contracting authorities and ensuring that procurement processes are conducted in compliance with applicable legal requirements. She has developed high-quality procurement documentation, served as a member of procurement commission, and regularly advises colleagues on the application of procurement regulations.
Before joining “PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal”, Aiga managed complex and specialized construction procurement processes at the state-owned company “Valsts nekustamie īpašumi (SJSC “State Real Estate"). She also gained broad experience in procurement while working at the Latvian Prison Administration, where she was involved in projects funded by the European Social Fund.
Aiga holds a professional Master’s degree in Law and a legal qualification, as well as a professional Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She continues to expand her knowledge through various trainings and seminars in procurement law and practice. Her in-depth expertise and practical experience make her a reliable partner in public procurement matters.
