PwC Latvia

Linda is a Legal Intern at PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal, providing support to lawyers on a broad range of legal matters by conducting legal research, analysing regulatory frameworks, and assisting in the preparation of procedural documents. In her daily work, Linda is involved in matters related to commercial law, sanctions, and anti‑money laundering (AML), as well as other areas of law relevant to the business environment.

Linda is a final‑year student in the Law and Business programme at Riga Graduate School of Law, where she is gaining interdisciplinary knowledge at the intersection of law and business. During her studies, she has developed a particular interest in financial regulation, international sanctions, and economic security‑related issues.

Before joining the PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal team, Linda gained practical experience in know‑your‑customer (KYC) processes, including analysing client structures, assessing beneficial ownership information, and screening clients against sanctions and other risk lists. This experience has provided her with a solid understanding of regulatory requirements and risk assessment in financial and business environments.
